Sascha LO: BRAT (WIP)

Notorious spoilt brat, Sascha LO, presents 7 (+53) minutes-in-heaven of ego, self-entitlement and gen Z feminism. Basically, It’s a show about whether it’s possible to be a good person if you use your daddy’s uber account and objectify men who wear corduroy.

At only 23, she has already been a Funny Women Stage Awards Finalist 2023, BBC Comedy Award Nominee 2022 & 2023, Chortle Student Comedy Awards Finalist 2022, and BFI Best Writer nominee 2023.

‘Desperate for attention’ (CHORTLE)

‘Not like the other girls and a little bit ditzy, she is the definition of brat’ (EdFringe Review)

ABOUT THE ARTISTS:

Sascha LO

At 23, I have already been a Funny Women Stage Awards Finalist 2023, the reserve for the BBC Comedy Awards Regional Finals 2022, Chortle Student Finalist 2022 and Komedia New Act Finalist 2020. I also run a monthly women-led comedy night in Clapham called 'Material Girls Comedy'.

Last year, I wrote, directed and edited a multi-award-nominated short film, 'Model of Life'- a mockumentary about life-modelling and the art world. As well as 7 official film festival selections (including two BIFA qualifying festivals), it was nominated for 'Best Writer' by the BFI Futures Film Festival and I was nominated for 'Best Rising Star' at Women X Festival. As a result, I have written a sitcom pilot based on Model of Life that has received feedback from BFI's resident script editor.
